After reviewing Earth's fossil records, The Mothership's intergalactic historians have determined that the ancient Parmesan Chicken (Parmesianous Chikkenus) went extinct fourteen million years ago. So... we'll need to create our own from scratch.

Ingredients

  • Chicken Breasts (or thighs, we're not picky. Just make sure they're skinned and deboned)

  • Flour

  • Egg (1)

  • Italian Bread Crumbs

  • Olive Oil

  • Parmesan

  • Mozzarella

  • Flying Saucery Tomato Sauce

  1. Beat Your bird: Place plastic wrap over your chicken and pound it flat with a mallet.

  2. Dredge Your bird: You'll need three bowls. Fill one with flour, one with beaten egg, one with breadcrumbs and LOTS of grated parmesan. Coat your chicken with flour, dip it in egg, then coat it with your parm-bread crumbs.

  3. Blast Your Bird: Pour a little too much olive oil into a pan on medium-high heat. Fry your bird until it's golden-brown, then remove and place on a paper towel to dry.

TIP: Pat your chicken all over with a paper towel to soak up all excess oil. This will make the skin crispy.

  1. Dress Your Bird: Lay your fried chicken onto a foiled tray, smother it in delicious Flying Saucery tomato sauce, and top with Mozzarella cheese.

  2. Blast Your Bird: bake at 400 degrees until the mozzarella in browning and bubbling.

Behold! The ancient Parmesianous Chikkenus walks the earth again!
